Local Author and Santa Barbara’s Due Maternity Host Live Event on July 21st
Santa Barbara, California – The number one mistake that moms-to-be make is spending all their time preparing for the birth, how to take care of their body or taking care of the baby. Before the baby even arrives, a woman can already forget about herself. Amy Kovarick, life coach, radio show host and local author of BABY ON BOARD: Becoming a Mother without Losing Yourself—A Guide for Moms-to-Be and Due Maternity, Santa Barbara’s own innovative retailer for moms-to-be, are inviting women on Saturday July 21st to find their unique way of being a woman and mother.
Kovarick’s company Empowered Motherhood and Due Maternity have teamed up to create a special event on Saturday July 21st. Held at the Due Maternity retail store at 1223 State Street from 12:00 to 3:00pm – the event welcomes moms of all stages from expecting moms, to brand new mothers to those moms with years on the job. The afternoon’s activities include:
- Exclusive talk by Kovarick on the top 10 tips to becoming a mother without losing yourself
- Kovarick’s famous on the spot one-on-one coaching moments
- Personal signing of Kovarick’s new book BABY ON BOARD
- A drawing for a free private coaching session from Empowered Motherhood
“In my company, Empowered Motherhood, we believe that there are no right answers. Every mother brings her own unique style and approach to motherhood. The question is always ‘what do you need to bring your full potential to your life as a woman and mother?’ This is the kind of question that gets a woman to use both her heart and her head,” states Kovarick. It is her passion for empowering mothers that prompted Kovarick to partner with Due Maternity and create an exclusive event for the local community.
Due Maternity has long been a favorite for the expectant mother in Santa Barbara. In their boutique locations across the country and online store, Due offers the hottest maternity styles along with diaper bags, beauty products and more. Company owner Shannon DiPadova also believes in helping women bring their best to motherhood, “Empowered Motherhood and Due Maternity share a dedication to supporting mothers and ensuring that each woman knows how extraordinary and special she is – that is what this event is all about.”
