| Moms-To-Be, I have been doing house renovations for over three months! That means there are many time where I do need to work with contractors, move things from room to room and generally roll up my sleeves and get busy. It also means that I've needed to dream up a few new activities and strategies to entertain my three year old - I have a special box with some new toys, a favorite movie, things to build, things to take apart, etc. It really helps to be able to just go to the box - it's like my "bag of tricks". All the best from your coach, Matt loves any kind of tools - definitely part of his bag of tricks!

Have YOU Bought the Book Yet?
"I just wanted to say thank you already! I'm only 8 weeks pregnant and I've found myself more stressed out than excited...I read the first chapter of your book and it was like breathing a big sigh of relief! I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the book and doing the exercises. The practical tips I've read so far have helped me to sort things in my head and take one step at a time. I love how it's about finding myself, not being told what to do! Thanks a million!" Krista, mom-to-be Baby on Board: Becoming a Mother Without Losing Yourself: A Guide for Moms-to-Be is available at bookstores, Babies 'R Us stores and online. This book will be your support and inspiration while you are expecting and throughout motherhood. Click here | ||||||||||

Your Bag of Tricks My solution is to have a whole list of ideas that will help you relax, rest and rejuvenate after your baby arrives. These are the ones that you will pull out when you REALLY need a lift. The real trick is to prepare ahead of time, work out the details and share it NOW with your husband or partner, friends and family. It's likely that you will not have the presence of mind to make this list in the midst of full-on new motherhood. So, get out a piece of paper and jot down some ideas. Here are a few suggestions to get you started:
