| Amazing Moms-To-Be! One of my most important jobs as a coach is to help mothers recognize who you are, celebrate who you are and be grateful for you are.
That is my inspiration for this week's newsletter - how important it is
to love yourself. I know when I'm loving myself, I have so much more to
give to my kids, All the best from your coach, I am an amazing mother because I take time to tickle my boy!

| Be Your Biggest Fan You are an AMAZING mother. Take that in. You are an amazing mother. If you already have children and are expecting the latest addition - you are an amazing mother. If this is your first baby - you too are an amazing mother, right at this moment. I think learning how to be your biggest fan is
so important because mothers have this weird affinity for beating
ourselves up or indulging in trash talk about how we are doing as women
and mothers. We have an incredible tendency to run ourselves down – to
easily see and dwell on all the things that we are not doing right or
that we could be doing better. And it doesn’t matter if you have been a
mother for years or are expecting your first child. For some reason,
mothers often default to the negative not to the positive. We can overlook how extraordinary we are. There are so many places to notice where you shine. You might be amazing because of the way you are taking care of your body and the life you are creating inside you. If you are eating really well - that shows your commitment and thoughtfulness. You might be amazing because of the way you are preparing for the birth or bringing your baby home. If your way is a detailed birth plan and lists for everyone - that highlights your stupendous organization skills. If your way is to go with the flow - that shows your gift for spontaneity. Everything that you are doing, thinking and being illustrates the dozens of unique qualities, talents and gifts that you have to offer as a mother. The kind of partner or wife you are. The way you cook. Your sense of style. The way you learn. Your response to conflict. The way you dance. Your relationship to money. The way you touch. So, I want you to be your biggest fan today. In fact, you are the founder of your own fan club. I want you to think of some reasons of why you are an amazing mother. One of the most important things you can do as a mother is to recognize what you have to offer your child and to give it freely and abundantly. COACH YOURSELF: Take five minutes right now and start your list of Top 10 Reasons Why I Am An Amazing Mother. Keep it on your bedside table and continue adding to it now and after your baby arrives. Share these qualities with your little one and the rest of the world. Email me at amy@empoweredmotherhood.com and share your list. And click here to see our newsletter archive. |
