| Lovely Mommas! It's been a busy, successful January and I'm in full gear. The lovely freedom I found over the holidays has been replaced with tight scheduling and a long to-do list. I cut back to working three days a week last summer, but I notice it's creeping up - on my days off, I'm jumping on the computer as soon as my little boy goes down for a nap - just one more email, one more task. I want to ease back from the task master mode and into better This week's newsletter is about Support, Encouragement & Belief for what we most need. Scroll down to your Coaching Moment to look at what YOU really need going forward into the rest of 2009. All the best from your coach, Matt & I off having lunch together - this is what I should be doing more often! |

| Support, Encouragement & Belief Now that January is coming to a close along with the initial hype and surge of energy from the new year, I want to know what you really need in 2009. NOT what you resolved to do, improve or fix. What you need. I want to know where you want support. Where you could use a little encouragement. And where you most need belief in YOU. I really need to strike a balance (yet again) between driving forward and enjoying where I am. So, I want support in learning to relax - to continue my quest to let go and create free space for me and my family. I could use a little encouragement, reminders to help me stop the work and start the fun. I need to believe that this is okay and that I am not a slacker because I choose balance! So, what do YOU need? Take a moment to fill in the blanks below and just go with what pops up: I really need ________________________ in 2009. One mom might need support in sharing the load of raising her family, another encouragement to explore a new passion or idea. Some moms just need the belief that they can create the life that works best for them. Trust in what you need and what it requires to get it. The kind of support I want is __________________________. Where I need encouragement is ____________________. I need to believe __________________ to get what I want. In order to move forward on my need, I will ask my husband to remind and encourage me to slow down when I'm supposed to be slowing down! To enjoy my boy more, to enjoy my husband more. I will also be more confident in accepting support from colleagues and clients on my choice of working part time - no more feeling guilty that I don't have office hours on Thursdays an Fridays! And I do believe that I deserve balance. What do you need to do to move forward on what you need? COACH YOURSELF: Look at what you need in 2009 and the support, encouragement and belief required to have that. What will you do? Who will you go to for help?
